A batch of Dynacare Baby Powder, which was sold online on Amazon and directly delivered to distributors in several states, is now being taken off the shelves following a determination that use of the affected product could lead to possible health risks.

On Thursday, Montvale-based Dynarex Corporation issued a recall on 62 cases of its baby powder due to asbestos contamination, according to the FDA. Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that is often found near talc and is an ingredient in many cosmetic products.
