Lando Norris has survived two brushes with barriers to win the Singapore Grand Prix with ease and cut into Max Verstappen’s Formula 1 standings lead.

British driver Lando Norris recorded a comfortable victory at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, putting a dent into Max Verstappen’s lead atop the drivers’ world championship.

After all the talk of swearing in the build-up, this was one Singapore Grand Prix which could have done with being a bit more X-rated. A rather uneventful race by Marina Bay’s standards did not produce much in the way of fireworks,
