Mohamed Al Fayed is alleged to be a serial sexual predator. His sexual abuse, which has been under the spotlight for years, was not confined to his time as chairman of the luxury department store Harrods, according to lawyers for women who claim he assaulted them.

A former Harrods director told Sky News he does not see how security at the department store "wouldn't have known" about Mohamed al Fayed's behaviour towards women. The ex-director, who reported directly to Fayed, said: "There was security everywhere, all the phones and offices were bugged, with cameras everywhere.

Mohamed Al-Fayed owned Harrods, which said it had 'failed' the women accusing the late billionaire of sexual assault, and apologized to them.
