Fulham climb to eighth in the Premier League table, while Newcastle drop to sixth after their first defeat of the season

Fulham's Raul Jimenez, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson all scored in a 3-1 victory over Newcastle United at Craven Cottage on Saturday, giving Eddie Howe's team their first defeat of the Premier League season.

Harvey Barnes pulled one back for Newcastle after half-time and Fulham held on for large portions of the second half until Reiss Nelson grabbed a third in added time. Jimenez controlled the ball with his chest and rifled the ball past Nick Pope after Adama Traore’s cross in the fifth minute.
