Bridgeport Public Schools are prepared to reopen Monday with wht they say are comprehensive measures to ensurethe safety and well-being of students and staff. This comes after Friday’s closure due to a threat last week.

A 13-year-old boy was charged with first-degree threatening after threatening several Bridgeport schools, according to Bridgeport spokesperson Tiadora Josef.
