A lucky lottery player somewhere in New Jersey is $1 million richer today after buying a Mega Millions ticket for Friday night’s drawing that matched five of the winning numbers.

Tickets sold in New Jersey and California won second-tier prizes Friday, while the jackpot will hit $62 million for Tuesday's drawing.

Tuesday’s winning Mega Millions numbers were: 6, 23, 41, 59 and 63. The Mega Ball drawn was 25, with a Megaplier of 2X. Two Mega Millions jackpots have been won this year including a $1.128 billion ticket that won in the March 28 drawing and was sold at a ShopRite in Neptune Township in Monmouth County.

The biggest winner was Hyo Suk Jang, who won a whopping $20 million after hitting the SuperLotto Plus jackpot from with a ticket purchased in Los Angeles.

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Saturday evening’s SuperLotto Plus drawing, pushing the estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing to $25 million. There was one ticket sold with five numbers,

According to the Mega Millions website, there were no jackpot winners anywhere in the country in the latest drawing. The jackpot now rises to $62 million, with the drawing slated for Friday at 11 p.m.
