The 49ers hope Purdy will be able to practice Wednesday. Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey traveled to Germany for treatment on his Achilles.

San Francisco punted the ball away, and Los Angeles ended up scoring a game-winning field goal moments later. Many fans have been pointing the finger at Bell and blaming him for the loss, but Purdy stepped in to defend his teammate, saying he should have made a better throw on the play.
